It is pretty much a safe, clean and relatively inexpensive place to park your RV while visiting Boise. Check in is self-serve — you simply occupy your assigned site and you are good to go. Place was very quiet on a non-drill weekend. Used the Country Store and the Rally Point Club which were friendly and welcoming. Also used the laundry, which was inexpensive and spotless! The Famcamp is very easy to access from Interstate 90 or US2. As of this writing, all traffic entering the base must go through the commercial gate on Rambo Road. The base is on the dry side of the state of Washington, and gets very little natural rainfall in the summer.
