We stayed in one of the studio apts. The furniture was totally uncomfortable and stained. The TV was mounted too high on the wall. Why have a stove with an oven when there isn't enough counter space. The refrigerator was dirty, rust on the door and a thick piece of ice in the freezer. Also the oven itself had dried oven cleaner all over the interior. We have stayed at Destin before and just recently visited the area. Many improvements have been made, such as the new water park and pool. Great place to vacation for the military. I get a kick out of all the complainers especially the ones about the RV sites. Read the info about the RV park on their site, it tells you about the size of parking spaces and it is a small area. We really loved our stay at Destin. Even though the weather was cool and there are many improvements being made our stay was enjoyable and the improvements will make this place better. Hats off to the very professional staff and we will definitely return. Keep up the good work.

We are here now and enjoying every minute. The weather is nice with mild temps. We are renting s studio apartment and it is great. Only problem is WIFI, but we can go to the office and use theirs until the problems are fixed. Staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable.

Facilities are great--wonder when the 1 bedroom apartments will be open and are the motel rooms still being renovated?

We stayed last Fed 2010, in the 1 bedroom apartment bldg. It was cooler than normal but overall we had a good time and had a few warm days. The staff are very professional and polite. I can't imagine anyone not liking this rec area. Will come back as long as we are able to.
