Spent the winter in the same site. Made an arrangement to stay past 30 days. Great location, close to Lake Park which has great shops and food. Drove to Moody AFB a few times but found it was just as economical to shop in Lake Park than it was the commissary. 1 1/2 hours to the Gulf, 2 hours to the ocean. Had a great time at Uchee. Staff was very friendly. Propane and gas on site. PX and Commisery are fantastic. Laundry and showers weree well maintained. Easy acsess from Ft Mitchell. The 400 loop is all drivethrus and huge. 65 cable channels. No internet but our phones worked well. Had to leave since Octoberfest had every site booked. I was told thanksgiving is the same way. In the area looking for campgrounds for further stays. This place scared me. Very run down. most all the campers there looked to have been there a long time, maybe just storing them. Had a hard time finding the site, so had to ask a Marine to show me the way. I would not recommend this site.
