Very disappointed with this visit. It is evident the RV Park is not a priority with MWR and the Command itself. This is our 2nd stay here (12/19 & 12/21). I can say in the two years there has been deterioration with upkeep. This year we found the park filled with contractors (Hurricane Ida) and permanent party (PP). In the past, these classifications were housed in overflow leaving the RV Park to true travelers. Long term RVs are neglected and the personal effects are littered throughout their sites. Dog waste all over the park and even saw PP not picking up after their pooches. There is no longer any employee(s) manning the office and they rely on the Gateway Hotel Manager to run between the Inn and the RV Park. He is doing the best he can with the tools he has. While there are two Camp Hosts, we never saw them during our 30 day stay. No voicemail and they don’t answer the phones. Laundry is $1.00 to wash and $.75 to dry for 30 mins. AT&T has minimal reception (no streaming) and Verizon is better. Park Wifi is barely functioning. With all there is to do in the area, this park could be a money maker with turnover. Instead it appears those receiving BAH get a deal pocketing a good deal of monthly entitlement.
