We stayed while the CoVid19 was really ramping up, so I can't comment on local activities much at all. Here is some new info though; first of all the Base Commander is now been told to actively eliminate those that have been abusing the homesteading (one such for 15 YEARS!). The Billeting Office is now taking over and will accept reservations (601-5582540/2545). The "Camp Mayor" is Tim, a SFC and all around good guy, actively working to remove those not in compliance with the newly approved guidelines. He was busy cleaning/clearing out old debris and satellite dishes. Still ony $15 a night and free laundry in both bathroom areas. No WiFi for the price but T-Mobile worked fine. OTA television was adequate. The All Ranks was closing the bar but extending the dining room hours due the virus issue. Great 2-3 day lay-over. PX had TP!
