Three sections to the recreation choices here: Older RV section (1-38), newer RV section (39-56) and cabins around the lake. Both RV sections are FHU, but without picnic tables or fire rings. The old section has a selection of gravel, asphault and concrete pads, while the new area is all concrete. Looking into the new section, the right side are pull-through, while the left side are back-in. In new section, arrangement of the connections are spaced out, with the electric and water at the end of the pad while the sewer connection nearer to the middle of the concrete pad. Some shade in the new site, but the old section has tree cover throughout. Starlink coverage 142Mbps down/18Mbps up; T-Mobile 410Mbps down/11Mbps up. In new RV area, no facilities such as bathrooms, showers or laundry. During checkout, told to mention that we wanted in the older sites, close to the lake.
Now for less than good comment: Made reservation in mid-February for the March 20th site. Site reserved was 54, and called at noon-ish to camp office to verify the reservation. Positive response that our site was available and they looked forward to us arriving. Upon arrival, because of the lack of signs and confusing directions, has a local "constable" escort us to the site. Upon getting to the new sites, our reserved space was occupied! The retiree in "our" site was scheduled to be there for the next week and had already been there a week. So, we visited the old RV area, which has several openings. So, went back to the new area and setup in one of the three open sites (41). As we were staying just overnight, thought that it would be a good option. Next morning, we were told that a re-assignment email was sent with another site number (48) reservation.
