Review Detail

This was our first visit to Camp Shelby. It will not be our last. This is a great place to relax. We followed the information above to locate our campground site. Although the signs are small on the base we had no problems locating site 56 in the new section of the campground. We had a pull through with concrete pad. Was more enough for the RV (40 ft) and tow vehicle. Full hooks up. There is no bath house in this section. Very peaceful and lots of room between other sites. While there we ate at the "All Ranks Club". Very nice and food was good. We toured the Museum and outside displays. Well worth the time. The mini-PX was well stocked and looked new. We drove all over the base and this has to be one of the best kept military bases we've ever been to. We went to Hattiesburg MS several times and toured Laurel MS while there. There is a pool, but it wasn't open yet. I'm sure it's probably as nice as the rest of the base. We were in a Class A with tow vehicle.
