We LOVED this place! Pulled in through the front gate but missed the stop at the Welcome office... had to drive our toad back to register. Since we were there on a weekday, I checked with the Range Control Officer while registering to see if we could drive our toad thru the training range to the beach access. No problem. Sites are back-in only and ours was behind the bathroom facility, so took a little maneuvering, but settled in nicely with full hookups. Electric power was reliable and stable. Drove to the gate bordering the beach, walked over a sand dune and sank toes into the Pacific Ocean (very cold current - don't expect to do much swimming). GORGEOUS views up and down the beach, which you can also drive on via access points in the towns adjacent to the camp. Very quiet while we were there - some JROTC cadets drilling made the most noise in the distance. Loved the song birds and ocean air. Daughter used the laundry facility and was very pleased. We WILL return!
