Stayed in early February for 5 nights. The park is simple, though a bit odd in that there are multiple sites that require all left-side trailer utilities to be strung over to the right side in order to connect to the facility connections. Clearly, poor planning/design. The stay was very pleasant and I found that the park's two combined restroom/shower rooms were nicer than most parks. You do get the sound of freedom flying over most of the day given that it is a Navy pilot training base, but when inside your trailer it can be quite tolerable. The odd thing was trying to figure out the base's daily bugle calls... they varied from day to day as to what time they were played! The RV park is right next door to the base gym and the very spacious outdoor heated pool -- a wonderful place to relax! The Club was also very nice, though not heavily used. However, the staff was tops and they put on some nice evening events during the week. All in all, I would certainly stay at the park again if in the area. It is hard to beat all the pluses offered at the very fair daily price!
