This is a great place to stay. I was living here for a few months when we first moved to Texarkana and I loved living here at the lake. The trip into town was the hardest part of the stay, but there are oppurtunites to see nature everywhere. Be careful about your speed on base, even though the streets seem deserted at night there are security cops everywhere. A ticket on base requires an appearance in federal court in Texarkana.
