Review Detail

This is a great spot. Quiet wooded area. Bathhouse and laundry is in an older building but the facilities inside are updated, clean, and in great working order. The MWR office at Fort Story has been very helpful and accommodating. Each spot has water, power (30amp) for my spot, picnic table, fire ring and is well sized and with plenty of room between neighbors. The dump station is close by and easy to get to. WIFI service is not available at the sites, but there is a very close hotspot if you need it. We used the TV antenna for reception, and it worked good enough. Cell phone service (verizon) was good. There is a NEX gas station/minimart on board. The beach is a good 5 min walk. Overall the wife and I have had a great time here.
