First of all, I have to say what a great service www.militarycampgrounds.us provides to all of us as proponent for all of those folks who are eligible to participate in this benefit provided by all of the branches of the Armed Forces.

The purpose of this note is to ask if it would be possible to rate the cellular phone provider service by each campgrounds. Similar to the way cleanliness, road access, rates, etc., are rated.

In this way, we, RV'ers can have some clue as to what our reception will be.
Also, we can start measuring which provider provides the best footprint.

I've given consideration to having one provider for my phone and another for my wife, in which case we can widen our rabbit ears so that if we are at a site where there is no wi-fi we can tether or hot spot with our cell phones to access the internet with our laptops or just plain use our smartphones.

Thanks. Look forward to making your acquaintances in person one day.

God Bless

Rafe and Julie

Welcome, glad you're enjoying the website.

Cell phone coverage is included in the "Internet Access" area, when provided to me.

Thanks for the suggestion. Please let me know the cell service when you visit a military campgrounds.

This is sort of a pet peeve with me with respect to reviews. It would be helpful if things like cell coverage, utility quality, satellite signal reception, Wi-Fi strength and coverage area, etc. were mentioned by reviewers of a campground. Those are amenities that add to the enjoyment of a pleasant stay and I want information that would help me make a choice to use the C/G based on them.

I use this site for checking out cell coverage when I am deciding on a C/G. It is a bit easier to use than going to the respective carrier's own site map. www.signalmap.com/
