Larry,
Any thought to including these parks also on your website.

I "sort of" thought about it. Awhile back, I had the idea of starting another website similiar to this one for COE campgrounds. But as bblhed mentioned, there's already other websites for COE campgrounds. Although, I don't think they have the rating and review process. If I had the time, I might have pursued the idea.

Maybe you could incorporate that link somewhere on the home page or the main category page so we could all find it easily if we decided to check them out at some time when we were near any one of them, or heading in that direction on a trip -- we might find a COE instead of a MCG if an MCG was not in a specific area we wanted to see.

You folks have probably already located this site, if not, I have this one in Favorites,
www.CorpsLakes.us
There are some really nice Corps Lakes here in Kentucky, just spent a week at Nolin Lake State Park, all sites on the lake and really neat. Marty

I agree it would be nice to get reviews of COE parks from this site. There are just so many MCGs and most have been reviewed over and over. The nice thing about this website is that I respect reviewers opinions much more than another review site so expanding it might be appropriate.
I haven?t found any sites that review COE separately. I think that we all are looking for less expensive alternatives to the commercial campgrounds by using MCG, but the ones I?ve been to recently are getting near the cost of a commercial CG and don?t offer as many amenities. So, if I?m not going to get the amenities I might as well go for the lower cost and that would be a COE park. Personally, I usually find them better maintained, more aesthetically pleasing, and certainly there is a lot less hassle getting into one than onto a military installation.
Mailman> Excellent site. Much better than the Reserve.gov one.
Larry> What do you mean, "If I had the time."? Would that mean that you're busier now than you ever were when on AD? I've got the t-shirt, too
