A possible addition to the campground information pages is being considered. Adding a list of the local lowest fuel prices and a different, more featured weather forecast is being considered. But I'm a bit concerned if this will slow down the loading of the web pages too much.
You're opinion and feedback is encouraged. I've setup the Easter Posey Campground, AL with this new information. Please take a look at this campground's information page and the changes made to it. Let me know what you think. Is the page loading too slow, or is it acceptable for the additional information provided?

I've started implementing this change.
Just a note on using the weather information. Clicking on the graphics will open a weather map or clicking again will change to a 15-day forecast. Click onthe other graphic and you'll get the forecast for the rest of the day. Clicking on that graphic again will give a 5 day forecast.

I presently have a DSL connection so the pages opened quickly. Air card a bit slower, but no problem.
The weather info is handy if you?re already on the review site. The Watches and Warning link is very helpful especially if you?re moving. I?m an ex-military pilot so I prefer radar and convection info that allows me to do my own ?forecasting.? I do have another favorite site for that.
I?d like to see diesel prices listed if you haven?t already considered it.
Is there an easy way to link the listed places to a google or yahoo map? If not, at least it is very helpful that you put in addresses that I can drop into my GPS program.
FYI> I use IE 6.0 for browsing. When I clicked on the Easter Posey campground link that you furnished in your post, it was necessary to click on the Refresh button for the fuel column and weather link to appear.

Diesel prices for the local area, if available, are also listed. Click on the tab for Diesel in the fuel prices. One problem I'm running into on the fuel prices is the availability of the information. Fuel prices aren't available for every small location. In some cases, I'm having to use the nearest larger town/city to get fuel prices. At least it will give you an idea of what to expect in the area. Also, prices shown are within the previous 36 hours.

Thanks for the feedback - but I've decided NOT to implement this. I started changing over and ran into numerous problems with the local fuel prices. Sorry to get your hopes up.
