Checked with "Bad Boys Cafe". They said we're welcomed, but they are crowded in the morning. We can't reserve a section, but are on a first-come first gets the seats basis. We'll try to be there earlier, around 8:30am. They open at 8:00am. If you can, perhaps you can try to arrive earlier also to help take seats. It's a small outdoor cafe, dresss warm. They seat about 75 people total. Good food, around $4 - $7 for meals. They do have a large banner overhead with their name on it. Their booth is decorated with fake flowers.
See everyone there Wednesday morning!

The 2nd Annual Website users "Gathering" is now history. About 2 dozen website users enjoyed a good morning visiting with each other.
I plan on having a 3rd Annual in 2009. Also thinking about having it in Texas or Florida.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this small event a huge success!

Sorry for perhaps doing this incorrectlybut i have not found a button just to make a post or i need stronger glasses to find it. I am headed to key West on Friday and called to find out if there was plenty of room to pull over and park while i go in to get a pass for the base, i was told base passes are issued at mile marker 8 ? unless each key has it own mile marker starting at 0 number 8 must be quite a ways back. can any one give me any advise on this matter? Do i need t stop somewhere to park and take the toad to get a pass??
Thanks for any help

Tom,
Mile marker 0 is on the far west, side of Key West. That is where the mile markers start and are "each mile" not each Key. The Key before you get to Key West is actually where the Naval Air Station is located. You will need to stop there first to get a base pass. It is a good size base and you'll have plenty of room to park while getting your base pass. From there you will get back on the highway and preceed west to Sigbee, which is actually on Key West. Mile marker 8 would be 8 miles from the far, west side of Key West.

Unless "replying" to an existing topic, the button you're looking for is called "New Topic". Once you're in the proper discussion group for your new discussion, you'll see the button for "New Topic" along the top of the list of topics already going on.
