3rd Annual Website Users Gathering

We are plannig two or three months in the Quarsite area this winter(doctors pemitting). We will be keeping updaeted on any gathering. We stay on LaPosa west at Quartsite, was there for 18 years and missed 3 back again last year for a month hope to make it this year.

I'm dying to attend a webusers gathering but Jan never works for us. We snowbird in the lower 48 & return home for Xmas-NY's. I would think a lot of folks go to families over the holidays & Jan rushes it some. Maybe I'm wrong. I agree w/ last poster who said "let's not limit it to the SW". There are many folks that are scattered across America. How `bout a central location. Barksdale maybe ? The Famcamp might not be able to squeeze in 40 RV's but immediately across from the Famcamp park is a huge field. I've seen other large gatherings there. Bet we could get the OK to dry camp there- right next door to the Famcamp. Quartzsite is boondock/dry camping too, isn't it ? Larry, thnx again for all your hard work. Finally - a location and time has been set for the 3rd Annual Website Users Gathering.

Good ideas on having it somewhere other than the SouthWest, but that happens to be where I'm at again this winter. Maybe next year we'll try to have it at Barksdale AFB, Texas, or maybe Florida?

When: February 2nd, 2009 at 1130hrs
Where: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, Officers Club (The Mirage) Dining Room
What: This is an informal gathering of fellow website members and guests. The club is open to all ranks and you don't need to be a member (members do get a discount). They serve a BBQ buffet for lunch on this day. We'll visit with each, tell tall tales, eat, and put some faces to the names on the website. I also plan to have a few door prizes available.
