Slow site??

Hey Larry -- this site seems to load very slowly when I access and when I change pages within ... is that something I can set up so it's faster on my CPU (I do have high-speed access) or is that something with the site itself -- not a complaint BTW, just a question or observation. Most of the pages I click are very much faster -- just curious ... M44

there's not much you can do, other than be sure your web browser has caching turned on, caching is set to automatic update, and for you to peridoically clear out your cache (start fresh).

The site did slow down for awhile, but I think it's now back to normal. I'm monitoring the site performance.

Yes -- it does auto-update. But, this site is one of only a few I use that is this slow. It seem to delay, then finally loads quickly when it loads, but it seems to wait about 20 or 30 seconds before it does each time. So, I'm just wondering if I had something in the way of the loading -- I'm pretty naive when it comes to CPUs and sometimes make a mistake out of pure ignorance ...

And right after I wrote this, I read the other post and what you said there too -- so that's probably part of my loading problem as well ...
