Pelican Roost -- Busy Day Today

It's always a good day at Mayport's Pelican Roost but today the USS Iwo Jima and the the USS Fort McHenry are arriving at their new homeport (Mayport) after departing Norfolk, Va. For those of us that enjoy watching the ship traffic go by the campground this has been a busy week. A number of foreign Navy ships are here, arriving in the last few days. The tugs are standing by so Mayport's new arrivals should be here soon.
