Heard lots of "not the best" about Lazydaze RV in Jacksonville area -- many of the Vets in Georgia staying at the SUb Base there had some tough things to say about service after the purchase ... don't know any specifics, but just do your homework if you deal with these folks --
One incident -- true, I was there -- Single woman bought an RV and went to pick it up. Wouldn't start, so the dealer jumped it -- then it over-heated so she left it overnight for repair -- next day, she returned and still had trouble starting it -- and then she had trouble heading up the highway along the Georgia coast (three hours after purchase). She called them and they told her it was running fine when she left and she probably put bad fuel in it -- wrong, still the original fuel from the dealer -- she was only a few hours down the road ... so, she took it back for repairs -- got part way back, then had it towed in.
Seems to me that a dealer should have the unit running right when they sell it ... not just fix whatever the buyer happens to find in the first runs down the road, or the first 30 days, or whatever. Should be up to the dealer to re-fit before selling, not re-fit what the buyer can find before the "warrantee" runs out... So, watch out for LazyDaze -- could be a fluke, but I'd be careful with them -- this is first hand experience with a unit not my own, just watched a single woman get a huge run-around from the service department there...
