I was the campground host at Shields from May to November of this year. This a beautiful campground that offers an awful lot to the campers that stop by. Currently there are 68 campsites, 5 tent sites, and unlimited overflow parking but here is some good news: according to Marina staff the old park-model area is going to be used an an overflow area as they repair the sites to bring it up to full service and 20 new sites are planned for the current park. By my count that means Shields will soon have an additional 40+ campsites which should make it easier to get reservations at the park. Come on down and check it out!
