Thanks for the nice comments about our campground.
We do try to make sure everyone is accommodated. Why don't you leave a campground review?
We picked up a couple of ICE comments recently that had the camp hosts here wondering about the circumstances for the bad comments. I can assure you that the other camp host and I are pleased to respond whenever a guest has a problem even if we are off duty.
Not everything in a campground will be perfect all of the time particularly when the campground is at full capacity. That being said, an issue cannot be fixed if it is not brought immediately to the attention of a camp host or manager.
An ICE comment that comes in months after the incident or concern of the guest do not allow us to address their concerns at the time that they occurred. Some things can be fixed and while others cannot.
Once again, thanks for your support for Onslow Beach.

Onslow -- was there for a few days. And have been there in the past and would stay there again. But, one comment -- you do not have WIFI and when I asked about it the host said because it interferes with radar, or electronics in the practice drills --okay, good reason. BUT, I was offered a "modem" for five dollars a night -- FIVE DOLLARS, when the whole camping night is only $16 (That's 30% more) ... an extra buck for internet is sometimes worth it, but FIVE BUCKS - one night... That's a bit much, doncha think??
Otherwise, nice place -- especially in the summer, although I was there end of Nov -- missed you Curt -- you were gone somewhere eating Turkey ... M44

Heh heh heh....oh boy. If we are depending on military electronic gear that can be jammed with a 300 miliwatt wireless router then we are in trouble. Sounds like they were hoping you would go for the $5 modem. What a rip off.

Well, maybe it was the radar that interfered with the WIFI -- who knows, not me.
But the point is $5 for a modem is too much - for your stay, okay maybe...but each night??? I don't mind paying a fee - but a reasonable fee.
