Fort Worth NAS Tx. (Old Carswell AFB,) any there?

I don't believe there are any Military FAMCAMPS or Campgrounds in this area. Could someone please confirm this.

No FamCamp @Carswell JRB where I used to go regularly until I retired Jan 31, 2009. Had not heard of plans for one either which of course doesn't mean it won't happen. Regards...Lapster

I wrote teh MWR honcho 1 week ago asking if perhaps there was some area on Base to "drydock". No dice. he was cordial & understanding, but maded no mention of any upcoming Famcamp type facility. Keep writing and requesting however. Customer input helps.
