Is anyone at Sigsbee now? We are going to be there on Sun. and would like to know if there are any hookup sites availabel?

We are doing our final planning to travel down to Key West, What I need to know is when getting near Miami, is 95 south good for RVs or does anyone recommed the trnpike to get to US 1, We are traveling in a 5th Wheel being pulled by a HDT Volvo, Our travl time is the first week in March 10, all advice is appreciated

95 Sucks!!! during the week and the turnpike is expensive for RV,s.. If you have to do one or the other I would do 95 from ealy to mid-day Sat or early thru the day on Sun. I have made the trip more times than I care to tell. Your rig will do fine as that is pretty much the way Im set up also.. Have fun thats (Mar) is a good time to hit the keys

I really like 27 from south of Ocala after you get through the Clermont area. Mostly 4 lane with a few small towns thrown in along the way and a lot more scenic than either of the Interstates. Traffic is usually light till getting closer to the N Miami area. Or 75 down the West side then across Alligator Alley to 27 is nice and not too much traffic. Marty

Mailman has it right,, I assumed (you know what happens when you assume) that you were commited to 95 or the turnpike. If you can change your route 27 to 41 to 997 to 1..is the preferrable way to go. Roads are all good and not a lot of traffic.

We have been in Key West for a little over a week now. Was at Sigsbee for a few days then moved over to Trumbo now. With in walking distance to down town. Both places are really nice. Great camphosts and campers. Having a wonderful time.
