Visited Osprey Cove last month. Nice looking place to stay at. Large sites. The campground is an old mobile home park. You need to go through base housing to get to it. There's no community room, no showers, no bathrooms, no laundry, no Internet, no facilities of any kind at Osprey Cove (yet). Although, you can use the facilities at Pelican Roost.

Osprey Cove was full in February. Reservations are probably required to get a site. Most of the people staying there will return each year.

I'll have Osprey Cove as a "Featured Facility" on the website later this year, which will include more details.

Yes, there's plenty of shade at Osprey Cove.

For other locations, just pick a part of the nation you want to go to and look up campgrounds in that area. Of course, most are going to be along the southern USA (for winter stays).

Some people like to drycamp for extended periods at Sigsbee (Key West, FL), others like the tranquility and low prices at Gila Bend (AZ).

Since I rarely stay in one place very long (except when working in the Summer), perhaps others will have some recommendations.
