Destin Army Resort

I noticed the MWR resort/campground at Destin, FL is not on the list. Anyone have recent knowledge of this facility?

We checked out the Destin Army campground out when we stayed at USAF Mid-Bay Shores last winter. It appeared to be a very nice facility and the staff were also very nice.

It is well-located right in Destin, much more convenient than Mid-Bay Shores. They have a large marina, pool and "motel" co-located. The only drawback I noticed was the sites are quite small.

Yep, I missed it..thanks for the info...I am staying in a room, so I will write a review for the rooms when I return.

The rooms and rv sites are very nice. The cottages are even better, but difficult to get since they allow active duty to book before retirees.
