Time to get in one more good trip before it gets too cold. There's a few of us who are meeting up at Pointes West RV Park in Appling, Georgia from the 21st of October through the 20th of November. Anybody who's in the neighborhood is welcome to join us. Look for the site generating the most noise....that will be us!

NCO call is at 3:00 PM daily! :woohoo:

Bummer!

It's too far of a drive from California. Wish I could be there!

Be careful what you wish for Larry.

We're planning a trip out west for next year and one of the places we're thinking of stopping is out by you. One of the guys said "Let's go terrorize Larry!" :woohoo:

Bring it on! :P

We're returning to the same place next summer in the Tahoe National Forest (USFS campgrounds).

There goes the neighborhood!

It looks like there's about a gazillion camping areas out there. Which one would you recommend that would accommodate everything from a Tiffin Phaeton down to a 28 foot travel trailer?

We'll even feed you and Mama and get you all likkered up in apreciation for the great job you do here on the websitie.

I'll let you know the time frame after we meet at Pointes West, but it will probably be in mid- June.

Oh, and we promise to try and keep Rich under control....don't want to scare off the wildlife!

Being USFS campgrounds, they are not made for the larger rigs. However, Pass Creek campground annex/overflow will take any size rig (I've used it with my 40' Phaeton). This area can't be reserved, but there's usually space available. Next door is Pass Creek campground that will take a 34' and smaller rigs and can be reserved. The overflow is only one I recommend for large rigs at the lake where we work.

Nearby East Meadows campground might work, but I think the turns in the campground would be tight.

About 20 miles away is Upper Little Truckee campground that will take large rigs, but it's also on a busy highway.

If there's going to be a bunch of you, we have a couple group sites.
