Hey, folks....just a heads up on Ft. Stewart and Hunter AAF, GA, if you plan to visit this winter....you need to call to check availability cause they are both staying very full and very busy. Hunter AAF is currently (but may change) a 1st come, 1st served, CG, so calling to see if there is a site free to occupy will save you time and hassle. Ft. Stewart is a reservations only CG, 30 days in advance to date of arrival. Offices are experiencing new staffing, so patience on calling in for a spot is a good idea. Phone numbers listed on CG info here are correct.

BTW...a short note to ICE supporting expansion at Ft. Stewart's Holbrook Pond from folks here would help greatly to get "planned" additional sites off the desk and into the construction stage sooner. Active duty folks have discovered RVing for their vacations and love this place. (Very popular with us "old retired folks", too.) This way we'll all have a site to enjoy the great outdoors and touring in east Georgia.
