KINGS BAY GA.

WANT TO SPEND A WWEEK @ KINGS BAY IN JUNE DO ANYONE KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO GET A RESERVATION THAT TIME OF YEAR. HEAR IT'S A NICE PLACE. ALSO DO ANYONE NO IF THEY HAVE A BEACH?

No problem in June - no beach ... nice CG tho' and great people working there.

If you travel a little further south into Florida you will find a selection of beaches for your wife while you stay at Pelican Roost in Mayport, Fl. Also a top notch campground Franklin and if you decide on Kings Bay you could be at a Florida beach in about 30 to 45 minutes. Either campground you will have a wonderful time and find all amenities and staff are super.

BUT: Kings Bay is worth a stop-over just to see what a really well run MCG looks like - very first class here, so you should stay-over on the way, at least a night, just to enjoy it.
