Go here and put in the town and then ask for camping and you will have a bunch.

Thanks Ed, that gives a better idea of where the parks are in relation to where we will be. Still looking for any first hand information on that area.

Hi tlt1313,
I recommend the campground 'Frog Creek' ( www.frogcreek.us.com ) if you're looking for a shaded, along a creek, 'ole' time FL type of a campground. Most sites are back-in with FHU. Check it out.
My sister and her husband were prior work campers there. He attended the RVSA course and is now working that profitably on the side.
My husband and I stayed there, too. We have a 42' 5th wheel toyhauler, which was a bit too big for the park. We ended up on a pull thru site overlooking the creek.

MacDill AFB is only 45 minutes away, if you are looking for a military campground.
