Why hasn't my review regarding the Corpus Christi MWR famcamp been posted? That place is terrible and the public should know how bad it is there. Lots of drama and a crazy lady staying there.
Isn't the whole point of this site to leave reviews? What's the point if they're not posted?

All new reviews for NAS Corpus Christi Shields RV Park have currently been placed on hold. As you mentioned, there appears to be very much "drama" currently going on there. :woohoo: Suffice to say, reviews for NAS Corpus Christi will soon be published again.

We had a very pleasant stay from late November thru Early February. No cable but can get air Main stations ABC, CBS, NBC as well as PBS. Laundry machines are limited. They have started a physical training option at the fitness center and once a week classes for the campground retirees. Only negative comment is it is very windy there. Campground hosts are few and not much organized activities. They are starting to inject more funding for campground improvements. Very little military on the base mostly pilots in training on prop type planes and a large Army Black hawk helicopter repair facility with higher percentage of civil servants than military personnel. There is a Coast Gard facility as well. Had a very nice new years celebration and a super bowl party on base. They need more organization as to the people coming and going and reservations in the rental office as we had to move sites once. Not a big deal. We stayed at the smaller of two campgrounds that was originally a mobile home park. The other park was nearer the water. A lot of buildings have been removed from the base. Lots of open fields and a nice running track and golf course. Large medical center and a VA hospital not far from the base. Would recommend as a nice place to stay. Don't know of the history in the past. The internet was great also as we were able to stream netflicks with no problem unlike most military internet services. Just my humble opinion from my own recent experience.

Thanks - reviews are being accepted again for Corpus Christi. You should post this review directly on the campground's information page.
