Hill AFB - Utah

We're planning on a stop at Hill AFB outside of Salt Lake City about the second week of October. Anyone been here and can comment on cell and aircard service? We have AT&T.

You should have no problems at Hill.

You will have no problems, hill sits right in the middle of two very large towns with half a dozen smaller towns running north to south along the west side of the base. The fam camp is in the south end of the base not far from the entrance there. They recommend bigger rigs come in the west gate. Good luck and enjoy the area.

I hope you are meaning EARLY October. Hill gets COLD and that white stuff all over the place.

We were there for Thanksgiving last year and the weather was beautiful our entire stay...but, November was pushing the weather envelope somewhat for that area...came a big snowstorm the day after we left...but we experienced warm, sunny days with cool nights...low humidity...nice campgrounds close to gym and Exchange/Commissary...Marty
