Any recommendations in the Fresno area, off the 99

We are headed south from Oregon and will be using the 99 (south of Modesto). Good Sam does not list any real good information for an overnight stop.

Anyone out there have any recommendations regarding Fresno and surrounding area?

Lemoore NAS is south of Fresno. There's another campground on the river just a tad south of Kingsburg on the west side of Hwy 99. You may check around Clovis, but I don't remember anything being out there

Thanks for the reply. I thought of going to Lemoore, but we will be ending a long day on the road. We really didn't want to check any "special" packages into the armory that evening and then have to wait until they reopened to recollect our packages prior to departure.

The one south of Kingsburg is easy to find and is visible from the freeway.
