NAF EL CENTRO CA RV PARK

NAF El Centro is a decent RV park 90 miles east of San Diego, the only downfall is the Command Personnel treat RV'ers and Retiree's pretty bad. The previous Command Personnel always maintained a good relationship but those days are gone. Many of the folks that came back every year are now seeking new locations. Not much fun to serve your country and get treated poorly as a Retiree on a Navy Base.

Someone must have had a bad day. We stayed at El Centro last week and found base personnel to be very polite and helpful. Camp Host was also polite and accommodating, given our late arrival. The base is spit and polish clean and the FamCamp was comfortable, albeit not as nice as some we stay at. The real downside was the heat... 109 degrees. July is not a good month to visit.
