Military Camp Ground was created by Chev tracker
As a retired Canadian Forces Member (Navy & Air Force service) can I use the US Military camp grounds ??? We allow all US Forces both Reg & Retired to use our services on a space available status unless you are on Exchange then it is the same as for a CForces member.

According to the regulations, only NATO military members on official orders are automatically authorized. All others are a local decision by the installation commander.
I suggest calling the US Military Campground you want to visit directly, as the local installation commander can allow, or deny foreign military from using their campground. This decision also changes frequently.

So far as I can I can tell, the Canadian Forces does allow for non Canadian military personnel to use the facilities. From what I can tell, it might cost an extra 5 bucks for the night, but then again, if you were to show your ID or retired member's card, they might give you the cut rate. That said, I only see two base campgrounds on the website, and those are in Comox, BC and Petawawa, ON. I can say that I haven't seen any other base campgrounds in my time in uniform.
Threre are a number of businesses that offer a discount to military members as a non-official show of appreciation. I would just ask if a military discount is offered to serving/retired US Military.
Cheers and good luck,
