There are very good reasons why Politics and Religion are banned or at least strongly discouraged in the Navy and Coast Guard Wardrooms and Chiefs Messes. And I won't start on here as I would soon be banned by Larry.
Politics and religion are always hot button topics and I do not discuss them with anyone as I am not a good debater and respect everyones right to have an opinion. I am smiling as I write this as I find some of the recent comments here tugging at my heartstrings and that is all I will say!
