During the week of Veterans Day, there are many restaurants that will be offering a free meal to Active Duty Military and Veterans. Some of the more well known facilities across the nation are: Applebees, Golden Corral, Hooters, Red Lobster, T. G. I. Fridays, The Olive Garden and On The Border. I asked at GC if the wife could bring her 'retired army wife' certificate and they said it did not matter that they did not ask for proof. The girl said just to bring her no questions asked. I guess 20 years as a wife should count for something with all the wife duties they did!
