I'm looking at doing the final retirement thing in the Orlando FL area, and I would like to know if anyone has any info on the VA clinic in Orlando. I used it about 10 years ago when I was working in the area, but that was for a quick visit. I knew exactly what was wrong with me, I knew exactly what meds I needed, and I had the name and phone number of my regular VA doc (who was a department head at the VA, and UCONN Medical). So that visit took about as long as it took the Doc in Orlando to call my regular Doc.
Anyway I would like to know if anyone knows a contact number for VA Orlando, or where I can get a good list of services offered there. The VA web site is a little less that complete on that particular VA.
I really want to know if they have an internal medicine clinic, a good pharmacy, and an IV infusion Clinic (Usually called a chemo clinic even though about 70% of what they treat these days isn't cancer).
