military ID Card was created by Chancellor
Hello all
I went to get my ID card renewed today at the Airforce reserve base Niagra Fall, New York base and they were great. Signed in and was in the office doing it in less than 10 minutes. I had all my paper work in order so no big deal....But the people were respectful, helpful and went out of they're way to help me. They made me feel important and that my service was appreciated. So I just wanted to tell everyone that I think they are doing a great job!

Last time I went for ID renewal, the clerk put my fingerprint in a sensor and a few minutes later, I had a new card ... same for wife, but it was my fingerprint for her too. Getting pretty high-tech -- and smiles all around !! Liked the color too, blue for "RETIRED" ... smile on my face as well...

[move]Just me again!![/move]

I have not been able to wrap my brain around a concept that makes one group of retired veterans different than another! A veteran who had been rated as 100% disabled as a result of something that occured while on active duty should not be treated any differently than a veteran who made the 20 yrs. without injury and retired. .... my opinion....

If you agree with that, I encourage you to contact your Senators and Representative and ask them to support a bill that would eliminate the difference.

Thanks
