I am getting Concurrent Receipt Disability Pay and I just got my back pay from the VA (had to get my Senator involved). The people getting back pay from Defense Accounting and Finance Service are now just about paid out. The VA is just getting started and they seem to have lost what the DAFS sent them starting in October.
If it is a simple case, the back pay comes from DAFS quickly. If it is a complicated case (I have my VGLI paid from my VA pay monthly and that is "complicated").
