Menard's Military Discount

After learning about the 10% military discount at Home Depot and Lowe's, I have been using it for about a year now.

However, the other day I was at a Menard's getting some stuff and inquired about a military discount and was told Menard's now offers a 10% military discount, which I received after showing my retiree ID card. They gave it on Memorial Day and due to its popularity continued it.

Sad to say that I just learned, on Veteran's day no less, that Menards has discontinued its 10% discount for active and retired military members.

Therefore, I will do my shopping at Lowe's and Home Depot, who still have their discount in place - so far as I know.
