If you have Medicare and TFL, that should mean the TFL pays the co-pay on medications??

My disabled son has both Medicare A B and D, and TFL, and the pharmacy said D paid, then TFL paid, and he says there's still a co-pay ...

I believe pharmacy is mistaken but can't find any info that tells one way or the other.

With Medicare and TFL, there is a $3 co-pay for a 90 day supply of generic medications for home delivery. If brand name then the co-pay is $9. This is if the medications are on the TFL formulary list. IF they are not then the co-pay is $22.
If you need brand name medications that are not on the formulary list, you can get them for $9 but you must submit a medical necessity form that is downloadable and that the doctor fills out.

If you get the medications from a local pharmacy, then the above prices are good for only a 30 day supply.

What I mean is: Is there a co-pay with Medicare and TFL if you pick up the meds at the pharmacy in-person?
