I got my change notice in the mail yesterday and immediately shot a negative email off to the congressman. I'm sure I wasn't the 1st, but it's not going to change unless enough people complain and they'll understand better that they are on notice.

Yes I lost $47.00 per month and if you remember they took some money from us in 2009 or 2010 but that one was less painful only $20.00. I sent an email to the Speaker Boehner and my Maryland Rep Steny Hoyer asking for an explanation. I haven't heard anything back yet. When I do it will probably be the ole political brush off basically instructing to get some KY jelly to ease the pain.

While nobody wants taxes to increase, this one is actually helping me. I know I'm probably an exception.
For me, ZERO Federal Taxes were being withheld from my retirement. This always effected me on my tax returns. Now, they are taking out around $50 a month in FITW, which I'll just be able to claim as paid taxes. The result is I'll just owe less each year on my federal tax return.

I would love to hear an explanation from some representatives. I still have not heard one word from mine. Shows ya how much my complaints mean....

Duncan Hunter is usually pretty good at responding in a timely manner but this one seems to be taking longer. I think these guys are getting hammered by all the emails and complaints and don't really have an answer for us.
