While I have not stayed at Garden of the Gods RV Park, I lived in Colorado Springs until August of 2022.  The park is VERY popular during the tourist season, is not cheap, and the area around the park – West Colorado Avenue, Colorado City, Manitou Springs become very congested due to traffic.  You did not indicate the time of year, but, as I said tourist season is busy season.
