Fort Clark Springs, Texas was created by ortonhahn
Located on Highway 90 between Del Rio (Laughlin AFB) and San Antonio with two FAMCAMPS, Fort Clark Springs is no longer military but looks much as it did as a large cavalry fort and training installation. Many of the buildings are on the National Historical Registry. The RV Park is extremely reasonable and continues to expand its facilities. Reservations are accepted. While staying at Laughlin AFB FamCamp, we spent a day at Fort Clark Springs hiking, geocaching, picnicking, and checking out the RV Park. It does seem like a very nice place to spend the winter. The Fort itself is beautiful. We enjoyed our day there.
