Roosevelt SP
On our recent trip across country we stopped at this state park. Well marked signs all the way to the entrance booth. All roads into the sites were paved and no tree obstructions. All sites in the FHU area have concrete pads with a fire ring and picnic table, some have additional wooden decking. The FHU area has lake and non lake sites. The non lake sites are $18.00 per night with a $4.00 discount given to Golden Ages card holders. The lake front sites are $22.00 with no discounts given. This is one of the very few state parks we have stayed at that has FHUs right on the water. All the sites in the FHU area are about 60' long and 40' wide back ins. They are at an angle and very easy to get into. TV reception with our power ant produced a half dozen clear channels with all the majors being received. Because of the trees we did not even try to use our dish. Verizon signal was strong throughout the park. Crystal clear lake with lots of rental equipment available at the lodge. Main attraction is a large water slide. Excellent campground with very attentive employees.
