A couple of weeks ago we spent three nights at the Barnyard RV park in Columbia, SC (actually, Lexington). There isn't much to add to this great review;
www.maliasmiles.com/scarolina/barnyard.htm
.
Just about everything on their web page ( www.barnyardrvpark.com/Index.html ) is up to date. We were there for the flea market and stayed thu, fri, & sat nights and our cost with GS discount was $79.00 and change for a FHU with 50 amps. We had site B8 which was less than 100 yds from the first booth in the flea market. The flea market is well organized and large. There is another smaller one less than a mile down US1.
Went to Fort Jackson to get our prescriptions refilled and visited the commassary and stocked up on meat & potatoes. The BX was super busy as there was a Brigade home on leave from Iraq and they were sure having a great time shopping.

I lived in that area for six years and was RVing there for a few days this year. Considering that there is very little in the way of a decent CG anywhere in the area, Barnyard is the obvious choice. The name doesn’t fit the rating. It’s a nice CG.

We are here again doing the same thing except this time we are even closer to the flea market as we are in site A2. Our first stop of the year on our way back to Taylors, SC from Jacksonville, FL.
