Route from Hunt Valley, MD to Ocean City, MD

Planning a trip to Ocean City MD with the grandkids and family. Have to make a stop at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on the way. We'll be staying in Hunt Valley MD off I-83 as part of the trip. Then on to Ocean City. We are in a 38' MH with a Jeep toad. Any suggestions on routing? Not sure if we'll have to go back north to catch the interstate or if we can cross the bay and go from there. Anyone familiar with this part of the country? Thanks.

Just bite the bullet and take the Bay Bridge (US-50 at Annapolis).. Bay Bridge is X140mi.. over the top of the Bay via Delaware (Elkton MD) is X160mi.. either way you cannot avoid the RV unfriendly (bring the grandkids collage fund to pay) Maryland tolls..
