We enjoy traveling with and without our RV travel trailer. We would like any insights regarding how to best temporarily store our travel trailer when traveling cross country. We will leave Kentucky bound for Calif via Dallas. We want to leave our RV in the Flower Mound area. Any tips on how to find a place to park for a couple of weeks while we drive on to Calif?
When I was tdy for my employer one summer we came home for granddaughters 1st birthday. We checked with a local RV park and they allowed us to park the TT for the 2 weeks we would be gone in an area off to the side of the park. So best bet would be to check into a rv campground and see if they have a parking area to rent/use. If close to a mil facility maybe check with the MWR folks and see if they have storage area that can be utilized.
