State Location???? was created by skyking8
I just noticed, probably due to my lack of situational awareness, that Texas is listed in South and Southeast under the Military Campground section of the website. What's that about? We don't do grits, peach pie, sweet tea, or southern fried chicken. It's southwestern Tex-Mex, pecan pie, big belt buckles, cowboy hats, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, and if you use the New York salsa we "get the rope."
We might have to think about succeeding from the website.

Dont know where you are at but all the we donts I have had in texas at different times. Johnson city has a lot of peach farms in that area and sweet tea is available in lots of places also. Fried chicken and bbq can be found all the way to the okie line, as well as the arklatex area!
May be over by NM is big but the ol south does live in tx.

Hmmm.. perhaps the website is referencing the "geographical location" of Texas, not the lifestyle.
Also, didn't Texas succeed from the U.S. and join the Confederate States of America (the South) in 1861 for the Civil War?

Are you referring to the War of Northern Aggression, Larry?
The only thing wrong with being retired is that you never get a day off!

actually the term I first heard was from the revolutionary war when the cow herders would move the cattle. Supposedly a job done by boys? Anyhow as long as the term refers to the worker types and not the ones from Dallas all will be fine in the world
