US Highway 2

Has anyone traveled US 2 between West Glacier, Montana to East Glacier? I'm planning on doing it with a 39-foot 5th Wheel if I don't get any negative comments. I have no idea how the road is there.

Here's the info from the Glacier National Park site. I haven't been there either, but US 2 is known as the Going to the Sun Road. It looks like it's restricted.

Regulations



Vehicles, and vehicle combinations, longer than 21 feet (including bumpers) or wider than 8 feet (including mirrors), are prohibited between Avalanche Campground and the Rising Sun picnic area parking. Vehicle and vehicle combinations over 10 feet in height may have difficulty driving west from Logan Pass to the Loop, due to rock overhangs. Stock trucks and trailers are able to access Packers Roost on the west, and Siyeh Bend on the east.

Sorry Sarge, two different roads. The Going to the Sun road runs through Glacier and US 2 runs south of the park. I'm committed to taking it now so will let you know how it goes. Thanks for answering.
